Interview Summary
Hart describes growing up in Russell County, Kentucky. She discusses her first home, her family and what they did for work, and her sources of childhood entertainment. Hart describes how her childhood home got water and how it dealt with wastewater. She describes how her family would dispose of garbage and how that has changed since she has grown up. Hart describes her connection with PRIDE through the Lake Cumberland Area Development District and her work with septic tank grants. She discusses how she thinks the environment has changed since her childhood and the efforts of which she is a part with her job and PRIDE. She also discusses the importance of environmental education and how she believes that there is a generational gap in regard to reusing and recycling resources.Interview Accession
