Interview Summary

Cleveland discusses his personal history growing up on a farm, and the surrounding environmental conditions. He discusses moving to Letcher County and the issues with pollution and solid waste that he experienced there. He describes efforts he took in regard to recycling and the efforts of the county to clean up pollution and make it easier for people to properly dispose of garbage and to recycle. Cleveland also discusses the responsibility of everyone to recycle and to take good care of their environment. He describes both the environmental and financial impact of recycling and how he thinks people's mindsets need to change in order to take better care of the environment.
