Interview Summary

Masood ul Hasan, a former professor at Aligarh Muslim University, begins the interview by illustrating the dynamics at the university when he was an undergraduate during the 1940s. Then, Hasan provides a description of the professors he had as an undergraduate, including anecdotes about their personal lives. Next, the interviewee discusses the engineering department, and the foundation of what is known today as Women's College, Aligarh Muslim University. Faculty at Aligarh who were not educated in India are also considered. Finally, Hasan shares aspects of his personal life, such as his children, grandchildren, and wife.
