Interview Summary
Rudy Poglitsh served as a volunteer in Swaziland from 1991-1993. Rudy served in the Education sector and taught math and science at a school that covers students from grades 8-12. For the older students he taught chemistry and biology. During training Rudy stayed on a homestead which ended up being across the river from his site. He started at Nsukumbili High School in the Dlangeni area, but moved to Mjingo girls school in Manzini and extended. During his service he lived in housing built for teachers. Rudy served after his senior year in college and noted isolation as a big challenge. However, he loved Swaziland and returned from 2003-2012 with his young family.Interview Accession
