Interview Summary

Jeff Johnson is the current Choir Director at the University of Kentucky. He was raised in Atlanta, Georgia where he participated in the Atlanta Boy Choir as a young child, and eventually went on to attend the University of Atlanta. There he enrolled as a music education major. Johnson reflects on his early career and the events that lead him to his position at UK. He also discusses what it was like to come into a program with a legend like Sara Holroyd having worked there before him. Johnson expounds on how Holroyd's success in the College of Fine Arts only served to inspire him to achieve greatness as she did.
