Interview Summary
This interview with 90-year-old James Herndon, also known as Sweet Evening Breeze, starts with a discussion of the time period in which he first met painter Henry Faulkner as a teenager. The two lived together before Faulkner left for Italy. He then talks about Faulkner's return to the United States and a car accident in which he was involved shortly after his return. Herndon then goes on to talk about being good friends with Faulkner, as well as Faulkner's three dogs and three cats.Interview Accession
