Interview Summary
James T. Cecil attended Lafayette High School until the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 when Lafayette students volunteered to join the Marines. He traveled to boot camp, went to World War II war zones, and returned to Lexington. He received his high school diploma when he returned. Cecil was 93 years old at the time of this recording.Interview Accession
