Interview Summary
Mr. Farris, State Distilled Spirit Administrator, details how he met Governor Wetherby and his relationship with the governor as the chief administrative assistant to the governor. He speaks of the governor's ability to give speeches and of the process of selecting college presidents during Wetherby's term-especially that of Morehead University's Adron Doran. He recalls several individuals who also knew Wetherby during this time: Cattie Lou Miller, Mac Sisk, Addie Stokely, Henry Ward, and Felix Joyner.
