American Veterans: Korean War Oral History Project
Project Summary
Korean War veterans discuss the war and their experiences. One veteran discusses his service in the 24th Infantry Division of the United States Army, his experiences as a prisoner of war, and the Tiger Death March. Another discusses his service in the 623rd Field Artillery, a Kentucky National Guard unit called to active duty. This was the only Kentucky National Guard unit to serve in Korea.Project Code
