Interview Summary
Wakeman was born in Lake Huron, Michigan. he served four years in the U.S. Air Force (1952-1956) near the end of the Korean War, stationed 22 months in Japan. Wakeman was 86 years old at the time of this interview and struggled with some details due to dementia. He was assisted by his son, Murray, throughout the interview.Interview Accession
