Interview Summary
Terri Taffel, a former women's tennis player at the University of Kentucky, begins the interview by summarizing her early tennis career. Next, the University of Kentucky and the women's tennis program during the 1970s are discussed. Then, Taffel elaborates upon her time as a youth tennis player, as well as the changes collegiate tennis has undergone throughout the years. Additionally, the interviewee talks of the university as a whole, from a cultural standpoint (including the women's tennis team). Taffel then shares her own experiences of playing tennis whilst attending the University of Kentucky.
