Interview Summary
This interview with professor Mohiuddin Khan begins with Khan discussing his biographical information, particularly his educational background. He then talks about his religious education in Islam. Khan then talks about the reaction of the students at Aligarh Muslim University to the partition of Pakistan, which caused enrollment numbers to drop. He talks about the university in general, as well as about his adjustment to the food there. Khan also talks about his life as a civil servant after his graduation from the university. He talks at length about the language movement, which sought to make Bengali an official language in East Pakistan, as well as the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. He also talks about his life after the war. Finally, the interview ends with more discussion about Aligarh Muslim University, as well as Khan's progressive ideals.Interview Accession
