Interview Summary
This interview with retired engineer and Aligarh Muslim University alumni Zafar Mohammad Khan begins with Khan discussing his background and family. He then talks about his initial impressions of Aligarh Muslim University. Khan also talks about the partition of India and the individuals he knew who chose to migrate to Pakistan. He talks at length about his work as an engineer with the Indian Public Works Department. Next, Khan talks about working as a civil engineer for Aligarh Muslim University in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He talks about two of the vice-chancellors who were there during his tenure, A.M. Khusro and Saiyid Hamid. The interview ends with a discussion on the current state of Muslims who live in India.Interview Accession
