Interview Summary

In this interview, Urch provides more information about her life and about Lexington before WRFL. She talks about moving from Connecticut to Kentucky, her first years of school, her various jobs over the years, and her involvement at the University of Kentucky. She talks a lot about the alternative music scene before the radio station, where and how one could hear the music, as well as what was happening with the local music scene. Finally, she talks about her newspaper column, the impact it made, and the people who first started working to get the radio station.
