Interview Summary
In this interview, Urch talks about the work she did to help WRFL get on the air and some of the memories she has of that time. She talks about her academic history, the piece she wrote for the Kentucky Kernel about the need for a radio station, her role as music director, and the work she did to get the administration and the record companies interested in the station. She also talks about the local music scene in Lexington and Louisville, her passion for music, and the memories she has of the people who helped build the station.Interview Accession
