Interview Summary

Grafton discusses her childhood, which was shaped by her parents' alcoholism. She wrote from a young age, and continued writing through college. Grafton talks about the death of her mother. Later on she discusses writing as a career, and her professional work habits, and awards she has won. Grafton mentions her desire for privacy.
