Interview Summary
Leon Day, born in Virginia, was a pitcher in the Negro Leagues. He also played in Puerto Rico and in Canda where he finished out his baseball career. In this interview, Leon Day talks about his experience playing for the Mexican League in the late 1940's. Topics include the Pasquel brothers, Larry Doby, Jackie Robinson and the decline of the Negro Leagues after the integration of baseball.Interview Accession
