Interview Summary
Orbie Vaughan gives her ideas about politics, women in politics, and women voting. She particularly mentions her mother's desire to vote being dampened by Orbie's father, and how her mother had to get stronger in order to exercise her right to vote. She talks about election day and women sending gingerbread to be given away to the voters, and families socializing and visiting other family and friends on election day.Interview Accession
