Interview Summary
Turnbull reflects upon the farm that her grandfather owned in the Cane Creek, Kentucky area. Turnbull gives a detailed overview of her ancestry and her childhood in Eastern Kentucky. Next, the farm is discussed, including the various outdoor activities Turnbull participated in with her grandfather. Then, a physical description of the property, focusing on exterior elements, is given. Turnbull also chronicles her grandfather's experience as a doctor serving rural communities in Kentucky, and how he became a doctor, and subsequently obtained the aforementioned position.
