Interview Summary

Bertie Wilkerson grew up in the community of Little Georgetown in Fayette County, Kentucky. In this interview she describes her childhood and life in her community. She describes her family home, and their daily lives, including food, recreation, jobs, and holiday celebrations. She talks about segregated schools, race relations, and how society has changed since her childhood.
