Interview Summary

Epidemiologist Vivian Lasley-Bibbs shares her experiences of how the pandemic changed her work and volunteering efforts, and how it brought her family closer together. She reflects on the challenges of adapting to virtual church services and the importance of supporting the COVID-19 vaccine. She addresses concerns among Black and brown communities about vaccine safety and healthcare system mistrust, and highlights the impact of the pandemic on mental health and the involvement of her daughters in racial justice protests.
