Interview Summary
Judge Toni Stringer discusses her career and service as a Judge in Jefferson County Kentucky. Born on April 4, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky. Judge Stringer discusses her commitment to community service and her experience as a law school student at Indiana University. She discusses the difference in serving as a public defender and a prosecutor and shares some of her most memorable cases. Judge Stringer offers some memories about the impact of other black judges on her own career. The theater of the court was appealing and she mentions Ernie Jasmine as an inspiration.
