Interview Summary
Campbell Brown is Brown-Forman Corporation's vice president and director of the Midwest division, and son of George Garvin Brown III. In this interview he discusses his first position at the Brown-Forman Corporation as an intern in the mailroom, his college education, and his second position in the emerging markets department. He talks about selling Brown-Forman products in India, the Philippines, and Turkey. He talks about becoming the U.S. brand manager for the Southern Comfort brand and the growth of the Jack Daniel's brand. He talks about his mentors in the industry, being a mentor himself, other relationships he has formed in the spirits industry, and camaraderie in the spirits industry. He talks about the renewed interest in bourbon and the future of the bourbon industry.
