Interview Summary
Minnie Morton, a farmer living on Cane Creek, begins with a consideration of her childhood. Topics of conversation include her parents, siblings, places lived, and level of education attained. Next, Cane Creek is examined in general terms, as well as the types of houses Morton lived in as a child. Additionally, Morton describes aspects of her current farm at Cane Creek, including chores, livestock, and the floor plan of the property. Next, Morton details her use of home remedies to cure illnesses, and the necessities behind this practice.
