Interview Summary
Fletcher Elmore, Jr., born in Alberta, Virginia in 1922, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Elmore spent time in Bermuda, Cuba, and Iwo Jima during his service in the Navy.Elmore flew a kingfisher plane for scouting reconnaissance in the Pacific. Elmore enlisted in August of 1942 and was discharged May 1946.Interview Accession
