Interview Summary

Glenn, age 55, has lived in his home (which was hit hard by Super Storm Sandy) for 25 years and has lived in New Jersey for a total of 50 years. Glenn works as an elevator inspector so he had first hand knowledge of how the electricity and other wiring would be affected by the Storm.

Glenn speaks about how his family dealt with the storm as a unit and also the ensuing clean up. Glenn talks about the agencies that were present after the storm to help out, and whether they actually did or not. Glenn speaks on insurance and FEMA, who paid and who didn't, and what he had to spend to get their assistance. His daughter Nicole, a first grade teacher, talks about how many of her students lost their homes.
