Interview Summary

Lee Philip Ebner, born in Pineville, Kentucky on May 22, 1919, served in the United States Navy during World War II. To avoid being drafted into the army, Ebner enlisted into the Navy in September 1940. Ebner spent time in Pearl Harbor, the South Pacific, the North Pacific, and the Atlantic Ocean. Ebner was discharged from the Navy in 1946.
