Interview Summary
In this interview with retired Pakistani General Wajarhat Hussain, he begins by discussing the conflict between Pakistan and India over the territory of Kashmir, including Mahomed Ali Jinnah?s involvement. Hussain then talks about establishing internal and external security in newly-formed Pakistan, as well as the deaths of Mahomed Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan. Next, Hussain talks about diplomatic relations between Pakistan, Russia, and the United States. He also talks about Akbar Khan, whom he knew personally and who was implicated in the Agartala Conspiracy Case. Hussain then talks about the Agartala Conspiracy Case itself, as well as the Rawalpindi Conspiracy, in which Hussain found himself implicated because his license plate was noted by investigators.Interview Accession
