Interview Summary
Mrs. Betsy Kuster shares her memories of Harry Thomas, an African American groom who worked on her family’s farm in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Harry worked and lived at Dodge or Hillside Farm from after World War I until about 1960. Mrs. Kuster remembers Harry as a part of their family. She discusses the history of the farm and Harry’s involvement.Interview Accession
