Interview Summary

In this interview Valeria and Paul Riley live on a large farm in Kenton County at the end of a road. The farm has been owned continuosly by Paul's ancestors since Emancipation. They were always (and remain) the only African American family in that immediate area. After year of living there while daily communting to jobs and schools for their two children in Cincinnati, the Rileys, now retired, ar really involved in their gardening and improving the soil on their farm.
