Project Summary
This project explores the culture, history, and food of Kentucky through the activity of gardening. Interviewees discuss their personal history, the role that gardening has played in their lives, and gardening in a communal setting. Other topics include community support of locally grown food, the size and location of gardens, types of plants grown, modern farming techniques, and the use of chemical pesticides.Project Code
