Interview Summary
First generation UK Football player, Lyons, Sr. played for the University of Kentucky Football program before being the fourth round draft pick by the NFL in 1969. One of the greatest players in Kentucky football history, his jersey has been retired. Father to UK Football star Dicky Lyons, Jr., the father and son pair are believed to be the only father-son combination in NCAA history that have each caught a touchdown pass of 80 or more yards.Interview Accession
