Interview Summary
Harreld begins by talking about where he’s from and his starting journey to the University of Kentucky as a freshman. He then transitions into talking about his life recently, mentioning the places he has lived throughout his life. After talking about his traveling, he then recalls back to when he was a freshman, including how he was dealing with his first year and how he was able to land a spot as a freshman basketball manager. From this, he talks about his life as a basketball manager and slowly transitions into telling stories of Adolph Rupp, such as his pre-game rituals, as well as coaching stories of Rupp. After the stories of Coach Rupp, he finishes the interview by talking about how he juggled being a basketball manager and school, along with the life-long impacts of being a basketball manager.Interview Accession
