Interview Summary
Carson B. "Mike" Harreld was a manager for the University of Kentucky basketball team during some of Adolph Rupp's years as coach. In this interview, Harreld talks about his childhood interest in basketball, his love for UK basketball, and the most recent season of college basketball (at the time of this interview). Throughout the interview, he discusses Adolph Rupp's coaching style, sometimes comparing it to John Calipari's coaching style. He discusses corruption and cheating in college basketball. He talks about his own experiences as a team manager, as well as his ROTC and military experience.Interview Accession
