Interview Summary

Riebe was employed as the first Center Director, Great Onyx Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center (GOJCCC) located on Flint Ridge, Mammoth Cave National Park, near Cave City, Kentucky. He was responsible for the completion and operation of the center from March 5, 1965 to August 18, 1968. This interview is self-recorded by Charles Riebe while driving pickup Montana to Colorado, and describes his position in the National Park Service (NPS) Western Regional Office prior to his Job Corps assignment.
