Interview Summary

In this interview, Colonel Jim Williams discusses his experiences moving through the Army chain of command. Joining the army in 1959 after attending West Chester University, Colonel Williams relays his experiences of training, advancement in rank, and two tours in Vietnam, the first as Army Inspector General and the second as an advisor in the CORDS program. Williams recounts his work in army recruitment before his retirement and move to civilian life, where he worked under a major retailer. Williams ends the interview with his current work in advocacy for prostate cancer awareness.
