Zhang describes bringing money into the United States, early days in graduate school, Furnishing his apartment, the "kindness of strangers", having a job on campus, situation with his wife, beyond graduate school, and his first job.The Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History serves as a secondary repository for this oral history interview. Authorization must be granted by the Kentucky Historical Society (which includes the Kentucky Oral History Commission) to use or publish by any means any archival material to which the Society holds copyright.
