Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation Oral History Project
Project Summary
The Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation began in 1955 when residents of Lexington began raising funds to buy and restore the historic Hunt-Morgan House. The trust, a nonprofit organization, has been involved in preserving historic buildings, sponsoring community preservation programs, acting as a resource for historic neighborhood associations, and making the public aware of preservation issues. These interviews with long-time trust members focus on its history.Project Code
