Interview Summary

Dr. Ed Fallon is a fourth generation equine veterinarian. His great-grandfather Edward Hagyard started the practice in Lexington in 1876 and Fallon joined his uncle Charlie Hagyard at Hagyard, Davidson, and McGee in the late1950s. He discusses his education, shares stories of his grandfather and Uncle Charlie, and describes the changes he has experienced in equine reproductive medicine during the last half of the twentieth century. Fallon also tells of his childhood growing up on Beaumont Farm where his father, Harold Fallon, was the farm manager for Hal Price Headley.
