Interview Summary
This interview focuses mainly on Wilson's work during the 1990s, including his coverage of the 1991 controversy at Kentucky State University between President John Wolfe and Board of Regents Chair Louie Nunn; the murder trial of Ralph Baze; the extortion and tax fraud trial of Bill Collins; and the Lexington police shooting of Tony Sullivan. Wilson also talks about the sale of the Courier-Journal to Gannett; his story-writing process; and being interim director of the University of Kentucky School of Journalism in 2002-2003.Interview Accession
