Interview Summary

As the first female for both city council (1973) and mayor (1993) of Lexington, Kentucky, Pamela Adams Gundersen Miller discusses her family background, education, marriage and motherhood, involvement in politics, and involvement in education advocacy. She was an original member of the Prichard Committee, and is current chair of the Council of Post-Secondary Education. She was also chair of the Prichard Committee from 2004-2008.
