Project Summary

This collection documents the life and career of architect and urban designer Helm Roberts (1931-2011). Helm Roberts designed the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Frankfort, Ky. He discusses his early life, family, education, his time in the Navy between the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and reflections on his career as an architect. He discusses his work designing the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and also discusses his work on apartments and senior living centers.
