Interview Summary

Rev. Dare Washington is the pastor of Mt. Cleveland Baptist Church, located in Drakesboro, Kentucky. Washington provides his perspective as a minister, community member and community leader. He discusses his early experiences as an African American coal miner and the racial inequalities present in the field. Later, he focuses on his time as a minister and he speaks on the Black church and its efforts for the improvement of the Black community.
