Interview Summary

Jimmy Tucker was an enrollee at Great Onyx Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center (GOJCCC). As a corpsman, he had spent some recreation time in Glasgow, Kentucky and after leaving the center made his home in Glasgow and use the South Central Bank. Anita Wheeler Garland, wife of Hafford "Hal" Garland who was employed at Great Onyx Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center (GOJCCC) during this time grew up in Park City, Kentucky and worked at the South Central Bank in Glasgow, Kentucky. The purpose of this interview is to record her recollection of her banking association with Tucker and his reputation in the community.
