Interview Summary

In this follow-up interview, Morris S. Collier and Kenneth M. Hourigan, who both served with Company D 192nd Tank Battalion, describe actions in the Philippines. They talk about abandoning tanks, destroying tanks to keep the enemy from capturing equipment, and impressions of officers. Collier and Hourigan describe their experiences as prisoners of war, and their homecoming. (Each interviewee was also interviewed separately - Collier on Jan. 11 1988 and Hourigan on May 31 1985)
