Three Generations of Women in My Family Oral History Project
Project Summary
This project explores women's lives throughout the 20th century. Interviewees of all different ages discuss their families, upbringing, education and employment. Stories range from growing up during the Great Depression to being a young housewife in the late 1990s. Topics discussed include racial prejudice, homemaking, pregnancy and childbirth, family values, widowhood, and women in the workforce.Project Code
