In this interview with an anonymous participant, they discuss their life as an Indian immigrant CPA working remotely in Lexington, Kentucky. The interviewee describes their experiences immigrating from India, their partner's Singaporean background, her families financial dynamics and those of her parents. She also goes into detail about kitty parties, a social banking practice, that her mother engaged in while in India and she has taken up in Lexington, how the purpose of those parties has changed between continents and generations, and her own personal relationship with money and the economy.
