Interview Summary

Roxie C. Perkins discusses her long career in agricultural and home economics extension service in Harlan County, Kentucky. She discusses her work with the 4-H Club, various 4-H and community projects, and the community's war efforts. She discusses a period of time when she worked for free because she had been fired because some of her coworkers did not like having a female boss.
