Interview Summary
Harry Duncan discusses his lives with the men he considers his two godfathers, Allen Tate and Victor Hammer. However, due to time constraints, he talks primarily about Victor Hammer, an artist and typographer known for cutting American Uncial. Hammer was European-born, but fled Austria during Anschluss and eventually settled in Lexington, Kentucky.Interview Accession
