Interview Summary

Rule tells the story of her life in Etowah, Tennessee. She talks about living on a farm as a kid and learning how to be an adult. She never really liked playing games like the other kids; she was mature and independent. She would walk down to the movie theater at age 9 by herself. When she was older, her parents would take her to Knoxville where she eventually attended business school. Rule talks about working at the pharmacy, where she met her husband. She explains how that was the place teenagers liked to hang out. Rule talks about traveling later in life to places like Israel, the Bahamas, and many countries in Europe. She finishes by talking about how she enjoyed her childhood in Etowah.
